Raphus Press has just announced a limited hardback edition of my story ‘Dandelion Spring’. The volume features both the English text, and a Portuguese language translation (Dente de Leão da Primavera) by Alcebiades Diniz Miguel, who also wrote an afterword called ‘A Delicate Vision of the Abyss.’ The story first appeared in a wonderful Francisco de Goya inspired anthology published by Raphus Press called ‘Chiaroscuro Void’. I am really humbled and grateful for this story to receive such a wonderful edition. It can be preordered now at the publisher’s website at the link below, and some copies will be available at Ziesing books in the United States March 2025.
From the publisher’s website: “This narrative, which straddles the genres of fable, speculative fiction, and premonitory tale, resonates with a pessimistic and apocalyptic tone reminiscent of Goya’s Perro Semihundido. It illustrates the inevitability of entropy, even in the face of the most advanced technologies.’
